Professional Installation Checklist
To Assess a job site you need:
- A reliable Hygrometer capable of reading well below 20%
- A Specie adjustable Moisture Meter to check both flooring and sub-floor.
- A minimum 6’ Straight Edge to check sub-floor for “flatness”
Checklist
House-keeping – don’t pile anything on finished flooring! Cover and protect it. Understand your liability! If someone demands installation where conditions don’t meet requirements, then get a waiver of responsibility signed. This may not stand up in court but morally the person signing will have difficulty forcing you to do something they’re taking responsibility for.
